Indonesia; a vibrant island country. With a population of 253,609,643 and an area of 753,358 square miles it comes fourth in population and sixteenth in land area, in the world. Within those square miles, there are over 100 active volcanoes. Its located in southern Asia, between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. There, males have a life expectancy rate of 69, and females have 73. The currency is the Indonesian Rupiah.

It has 17,508 islands, with only 6,000 are inhabited by people. Due to the large amount islands, Indonesia spans over three different time zones. They export 3,000 tons of frog legs to France each year. Making and flying kites is a popular thing to do to pass time. Indonesia is the country with the second most biodiversity. It is the only Southeastern-Asian country that's part of NATO due to its large oil reserves. Over 700 languages are spoken there. It is the world's largest Muslim country, housing 12.7% of the world's Muslim population. |
